bastards of the skies were a bit too grindcore for me : (
you could see that their fingers were hitting all sorts of complicated riffs but becuase of the loudness and the distortion effects pedals it all merged into one grindy mess :(
kylesa were amazing though!
two drummers. not a drum solo but a drum duo/duet! hehe
female singer too! not what i expected from what i heard on their myspace! they were amazing live! guitarist has an ace W style massive beard hehe
they did a great pink floyd cover!
baroness were awesome although much more progressive
which i loved but maybe they shouldve been on before kylesa
they had nice long songs and were very skillful on the guitars
venue was a bit too packed for my liking although i managed to get a fair bit of moshing in
hope ive not damaged my back / neck. it seems to ache alot nowadays :(
a couple of entertaining smoking breaks with claire n vicky then it was time to go
find our way home lol
back at work in a few hours!
