another great night out in grand central with rob it was well worth us going we get along really well the bands were good we had a few good games of pool in the salisbury before the gig bisonhammer were great! a couple of nice young ladies arrived during the gig and stood near us, then started making out! right in front of us! :D what a treat! quite a few nice lasses out tonight! bisonhammer's irish singer was good at growling! he was even entertaining me after the gig by setting his mates trousers on fire! throttle did an amazing cover of metallica's sad but true! amazing they also did covers of megadeath and alice cooper which i wasnt arsed about their sabbath cover was pretty good though i see why they do covers though as their own songs arent that good, which is probably why they sold none of their 10 track albums, even though they were only £3 each! talented lads though! just need better songs! they had a nice dancing babe for a couple of songs! funny watching drunks stumble onto the train! and some guy phoning home and saying the edwardian is on his way home! haha spent about a tenner on the whole evening, (train and a few mixer drinks and it turned out really good! plus a couple of good games of pool in the salsbury first had whiskey red bull and cider a nice mixture! murpheys i aquired TWO new hats today! and
Robs review Well, Another night out in Grand Central.. What can i say, they serve good guinness, and good metal! Got the train in at around 7pm. and headed to the Salisbury for a few games of pool! (Via grand Central, to check the timetable for the evening!) I was beaten, 2-1 by pete.. Again, were making a habit of that scoreline! But it was a good game, and a nice table! After that, We headed to grand central and got the best seats in the house for the evening! (via the bar, of course ;)) the first band, Bisonhammer, good music! and the singer knew how to work the crowd, (im sure the irishness helped :P) Im not a fan of that sort of singing.. but it was good nontheless! helped by some interesting crowd interaction just infront of us mid set ;) Next Band throtte where more promising! Definately more thrash than the openers, Played quite a few covers including some Sabbath, Megadeth.. and Metallica. but it went down well! and.. especially with some more crowd interaction to take our eyes away from the band ;) All in all, a good night! and ready for some more next time!
