Wez got £500+ new camera with him. Along with Pete's camera it's like the press are at the WA1 tonight. Couple of games of pool while the new Kings of Leon album on. Good to see band members hanging around pre gig The most huge fans (not people lol) in the world are in the band room More press! Wez picks up tips from a pro. Great seats around the outside until the bands come on City Royals kick things off. Nice surprise as these have made it to the final six bands in the nationwide red stripe awards. Theyre off to London soon! Thought they were a great start to the night. Nice dual guitar work. Couple of girls in their own band had come to see City Royals. Tried to get em to come to Warrington to play themseles. Pints of bud weisers especially nice tonight. A lot better than last week. Although only was working downstairs?! (just froth coming out of upstairs one) Black Manaleshi time! What a way to kick the set off with Mines a Whisky. Another great performance by them as usual, but too short! New tunes sounding cool though! The Vagabonds (or summit like that) on next. Very lively lead singer. Again all sounded good stuff. Lots of their fans in the audience tonight, some travelled. VANDAHLS time! A cracking set to finish off the residency. Rivers is sounding better than ever. Stage diving to finish things off. Met Neil and co for a quick drunken dance before finishing things off downstairs. Last song of the night as seemingly usual these days - The View Same Jeans! :-) The whole residency thing was a great idea. Lets hope theyre back for summit similar in the future. Certainly got the crowds in!
