great line up
couldnt have been a better introduction for us to earlstowns gravy train
nice vip style seating area to chat with the bands :D
very cool
ads remembered to bring a t shirt for me :D
plenty of time for stupid photos and drawings by wez n phill before the bands came on
urban circus are very good! hope they support manalishi and the vandahls more often
black manalishi as awesome as ever. apparently they melted Wez's face
the vandahls had a great new way of gettin everybody on the stage - drum solo first, then bass, then keyboard, then guitar, then singer
new songs sound cool.
overall a great night!




Phills review:

 

Gravy train was pretty easy to find! Nice venue. Not too far away.
Bumped into the bands straight away. We are becoming like vandahls roadies
lol.
Great comfy seating area chatting with the bands pre gig.
They had these flyers advertising all the gigs and VANDAHLS was in huge
text. I guess this is a big gig for the club!
There was certainly a big crowd in.
Wez showing us what he draws at work! I wonder if Mr £250 a day gets his
salary for drawing the same thing? lol
Cool budweiser-fire photo as can be seen above.
Pete visits the Black Manaleshi merchandise stall. Nice shirt. Not a bad
price either!
Urban Circus up first. Very good set. These guys deserved a MUCH bigger
crowd last time at the WA1. Good sound to them.
Black Manalishi time! Kicked things off again with Mines a Whisky!! What a
tune. Quick 5 or 6 song set, but top stuff as always. It melted Wez's face
lol
Took like 15 mins to get served at the bar!! A barmaid was arguing with a
group of guys for like ten mins.
Vandahls time! What a great new intro to come out on stage with. Very much
like Razorlight on their current tour with the drums first and so on.
Another cracking performance from them. Great vid of the new track law unto
ourselves from pete. We got a song dedicted too :-)
Gravy Train had some awesome speakers. The bands sounded really clear.
Probably cos of it being a new venue with new equipment
Great music played afterwards too!
